The DAIWA 20 AIRITY LT is a landline coil available from January 2021. The MQ body (monocoque) is made from a single piece of machined material. This makes it more robust, stiffer and sealed against saltiness. The monocoque housing allows the accommodation of a larger rotor, which improves rotation and increases performance. The Air Rotor" is made of ZAION V, the new carbon fibre based super composite material developed by Daiwa to further improve the performance of LT (Light & Tough) rollers: it is as light as ZAION and significantly stiffer and more resilient than the DS5 and DS4 materials. The mechanical properties of ZAION V allow the production of bodies and rotors that weigh less than DS4 and DS4 materials: the internal mechanics can therefore function better, guaranteeing greater fluidity and greater fatigue resistance, resulting in lighter and more powerful rollers. The roller body is protected by the MAG SEALED system developed by Daiwa This is a special magnetized oil membrane (MagOli) that seals the opening on the roller body from which the sprocket exits. The newly developed Tough Digigear aluminium drive wheel improves strength. The roller used is the long cast ABS made of aluminium, which improves the casting performance. With the fantastic ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) coupling, the brake on the coil responds gently to the initial load and then gradually adjusts to the set "brake". 8 ball bearings, 3 of which are CRBB (corrosion resistant) ensure smooth running.
